Pierpass 2.0 New Appointment System & a Flat Fee for Offpeak Program

Effective November 19, 2018:

Pierpass will transition their current pricing model with an appointment based system that uses a single flat fee on daytime and nighttime container moves, at the Port of Long Beach and Los Angeles.

The new appointment-based model is said to be “more flexible and can evolve to meet changing industry needs and technology” compared to the current program. This new program will also reduce the congestion of trucks that occur before the start of the nighttime OffPeak shift.

Pierpass new flat rates are applicable for all containers, across all hours and days of operation; regardless of pick up time (Peak or Off-Peak hours)

For FCL shipments, the flat fees are:

· 20’ container: $31.52

· 40’, 40'HQ, 45'HQ container: $63.04

Subject to an administration fee, should CSL pay on your behalf .
