Chassis Shortage & Terminal Congestion at West Coast Ports

As we approach the new year, there has been an increase of cargo volume into the U.S West Coast, which means ports are encountering periodic terminal congestion. Terminals have estimated this issue to last up till February 2019.

Also, as more containers are being imported, there has also been a shortage in chassis. The chassis shortage is causing many delays since truckers need the chassis to pick up the container from the terminal. We appreciate your understanding.
