Update List #3: Trump Agrees to Delay Tariff Increase from 10% to 25%
Last night, President Trump advised through a string of tweets that the United States plans on delaying the tariff increase for LIST #3 once again; which was originally scheduled for March 1st. Trump has stated that "substantial progress" has been made between United States and China. President Trump and President Xi Jinping intend to meet next month.
The 90 day truce, which began in December will delay once more until further notice; currently President Trump has not advised a deadline. They will keep the tariff at the current 10% rate, and will delay an increase to 25% until they have reached a decision. CSL is closely monitoring, and will keep you updated should anything arise.
